Lesegenuss im Dezember: Bad Doberan-Heiligendamm in alten Ansichten

Alte Fotos von Bad Doberan-Heiligendamm sind sehr beliebt und wenn bei Facebook jemand eines postet, dann häufen sich die Gefällt-mir-Klicks und die Kommentarliste wird immer länger. Wann immer jemand in Bad Doberan ein altes Bild sieht, bleibt er dran hängen und Gelegenheiten gibt es viele, denn außer im Möckelhaus hängen auch in Hausfluren der Villen, in Arztpraxen, Büros und Cafés alte Bilder unserer Stadt.

Ich erinnere mich noch an eine Ausstellung vor ein paar Jahren zum Thema „Verlorene Gebäude“ in Bad Doberan. Die Veranstaltung kam richtig gut an. In Heiligendamm gibt es über mich als Gästeführer auch Zugang zur Ausstellung der Jagdfeld-Gruppe in der ehemaligen Fachschule. Gern führe ich auch Sie durch die Ausstellung. Infos gibt es hier.

 Heute aber gibt es erst einmal einen Buchtipp von mir. Friedrich Rochow, der den Doberanern ein Begriff ist und der unabhängig voneinander zusammen mit Dr. Helge Rehwald und Prof. Joachim Skerl das Doberaner Vorbild-Trio bildet, wenn es um Geschichte geht, hat mehrere Bücher heraus gebracht.

Rochow spart mit Texten und liefert dafür umso mehr Bilder. In diesem Fall sind es ganze zwei Bände alte Ansichten. Das Buch ist 2002 veröffentlicht worden und wie es bei den lokalen Geschichtsbüchern so ist, findet man kaum noch ungebrauchte Exemplare. Bei AMAZON gibt es jeweils noch ein als „neu“ verkauftes Band und jeweils eine Handvoll gebrauchte Bücher.
