Münster ganz nah: Tag der offenen Tür im Doberaner Münster am 28.04.2019

Am 28. April 2019 öffnet das Doberaner Münster seine Türen für die jährliche Veranstaltung „Doberaner Münster ganz nah“. Münster, Bibliothek, Beinhaus, Backhausmühle sowie Kirchen in Althof, Retschow, Steffenshagen, Rethwisch und Heiligendamm sind geöffnet.

Auch in diesem Jahr gibt es die Gelegenheit, das Münster und andere besondere Orte einmal anders zu erleben. Am Sonntag, dem 28. April 2019 sind von 11 bis 17 Uhr Bereiche und Räume des Münsters und an anderen Orte offen, die sonst nicht oder nur eingeschränkt zugänglich sind.

Zu sehen und zu erleben sind z. B. im Münster die Loggia und Gruft des Herzogs Adolf Friedrich aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, die Bibliothek sowie der Dachbereich mit Deckengewölbe, Seilwinde und Dachstuhl. Besichtigung und Informationen sind von 11 bis 17 Uhr möglich. Führungen und Sonderführungen finden im Münster stündlich von 11 bis 16 Uhr statt, Führungen für Kinder um 11 und 14 Uhr. Der Eintritt ist frei, es wird um eine Spende für die weitere Restaurierung erbeten. Führungen zum ermäßigten Preis: Erwachsene 2 €, Kinder 1 €. Vor dem Münster bietet der Verein zur Förderung des Treffpunkts Suppenküche einen Imbiss an.

Klosteranlage und Dorfkirchen zu „Münster ganz nah“

Am 28. April kann nicht nur das Münster entdeckt werden. Es gibt weitere Angebote in der Klosteranlage; zudem laden weitere Kirchen und Kapellen rund um Bad Doberan zum Besuch ein. Um 12:00, 13:00 und 14:00 Uhr führt die Mühlengruppe des Klostervereins in der Doberaner Backhausmühle. Die Führungen erfolgen gegen eine Spende für den Wiederaufbau des Daches. Im Beinhaus am Münster werden von 11 bis 15 Uhr durch Mitglieder des Münsterbauvereins und Münsterführer Kurzführungen angeboten.

Von 11 bis 17 Uhr öffnen folgende Kirchen und Kapellen ihre Türen, die einen Bezug zum Doberaner Münster haben und zum Teil Kirchen der ehemaligen Klosterdörfer waren:

Kapelle in Althof,
Kirche in Retschow,
Kirche in Steffenshagen,
Kirche in Rethwisch,
Evangelische Waldkapelle in Heiligendamm

Der Eintritt ist frei. Es wird um Spenden für den Erhalt des jeweiligen Gotteshauses gebeten. Es sind an diesem Tag dankenswerterweise wieder viele freiwillige Helfer im Einsatz, aus den Vereinen und den Kirchengemeinden.
